Learning American Sign Language
Learning a second language is a gift you can give your child by having them take American Sign Language classes in a small group setting.  Children pick-up languages at a rapid pace and through this interactive curriculum students can learn how to communicate using a visual language.  This can be a building block for future language classes, an interest in a visual-spatial language, or a skill to develop to be able to communicate with someone in the Deaf community.

ASL in Santa Barbara offers classes in a fun and engaging way to learn another language that can be used with the Deaf community, eliminate frustration and encourage bonding between parent and child, or as a means to get a head start on a foreign language requirement for high school or college.
